WYCON Calaveras Eye Palette

Hi, lovelies!

Remember me? Today I am back with a review of an eye palette from an Italian brand called Wycon.
I discovered a brand in early spring when a friend got me an eyeshadow stick in Trieste.
I feel in love with the prices and quality. After exploring their website I was hooked.
In April we went to Trieste together and first stop was Wycon store.
It's slightly smaller than Kiko in the city center but so similar in design.

I believe that the prices are 1 or 2€ higher than Kiko, but also I prefer Wycon for quality.
They have a great selection of products, mostly makeup and also some skincare, hair products, nail stuff and so on.

They do special collections and some of them are so eye-catching that it is hard to resist.

So I got, well my dear friend got this palette for me as a birthday gift.
It was from a special collection called Calaveras, that was Skullcandy themed.

''An essential palette in six bold and ultra-pigmented colors. Trendy colors ranging from natural to super strong with an effective and modular texture, which allows the creation of a bold look and color block styles. Anti-crease and fade resistant,''

The box is beautiful and also the palette. The gorgeous indigo blue packaging caught my eye right away.
Palette itself contains 6 eyeshadows and each weights 1,8g plus a mirror.
5 matt and one shimmer.
Pigmented as hell, they blend like dreams and stay on all day.

I think the price was originally 19.90€ but at that time it was on sale for 12,90€ since it was an older collection.

I would definitely recommend you to check Wycon on their website or visit one of their stores in Italy.

Have you ever heard of this brand before? Have you tried anything from them?

Have a lovely day!

P.S.: At the end of the week i will post a huge L'Occitane haul ;)

REVIEW: Makeup Revolution Mermaids vs Unicorns Eyeshadow Palette

Hi lovelies!
Today I decided to write a review about this beautiful palette. I bough it for my birthday, at the end of May on Ličila.si for 5,95€.
I'm sorry for the bad pictures, they were taken with my old phone  ;)
The palette comes in a basic Makeup Revolution packaging. Clear lid, with rose gold writing on the front.
It contains 12 colorful shades (14g) and a dual side applicator.
I miss a mirror in Makeup Revolution Redemtion palettes, but at the same time I like the clear lid, so I can see which palette I'm grabbing.
All of the shades are super pigmented, easy to blend and they last on my eyes (with primer) for a whole day!
No i will tell you little bit more about the colors.

THE GREENS
Shade 1: Shimmery light lime green shade with a bit of yellow in it.
Shade 2: Tururqoise green shimmery shade, that looks lovely with my dark brown eyes.
Shade 3: In the pan it looks similar to shade 2, but it's more minty.

THE BLUES
Shade 4: A nice cool toned light blue, very shimmery and it reminds me of Frozen :P
Shade 5:  Shimmery ocean blue.
Shade 6:  This one i almost matt, more like a satin matt. But it's a lovely blue shade. It's the most finely milled shade in the palette so it has some fall out and is very fragile.

THE PINKS/PURPLES
Shade 7: Lovely dark ''midnight'' purple, contains tiny little shimmer.
Shade 8:  I don't know why, but this color blew my mind the first time i swatched it, I don't have any shades like this, Dark pomegranate/burgundy/wine shade of pink.
Shade 9: Don't know how to describe this one. A light purple-pink maybe? No idea, but it's a lovely shade.

THE DARKS
Shade 10: Night sky shade of blue, I really love it as an eyeliner actually.
Shade 11: In a pan looks totally different, than it actually is. When swatched it is almost like a duochrome between dark blue and deep purple.
Shade 12: Just a basic black with silver shimmer.

I really like this palette. Usually I am a fan of natural shades, but sometimes I want something more vibrant! Would recommend it to everyone that love something diffrent sometimes.

If you live in Slovenia you can get it at Ličila.si and if you are international reader, you can get it at Makeup Revolution site.

Have you tried any of Makeup Revolution palettes? Is there any of their palettes that I need to have?

Have a lovely day!

Sleek Face Form Review - Light

Hi lovelies,
i'm writhing this, while the most annoying fly is attacking me.
Today i have a product review for you. I've had the Sleek Contour Kit on my wishlist for few years, but never got it. A year or two ago, Sleek relleased Face Form paletts, it's basicly a Contour Kit, but it also contains a blush, wich is super convinient for traveling.

So about a month ago i got this palette as a suprise with my order from Ličila.si and i was so excited when i saw that it's even in the right shade for me.

Price is 15,95€

It comes in a tipical Sleek packaging, the size is the same as Blush by 3 palettes. It contains 20g of products. The packaging is really great for traveling or just for carrying it in your makeup bag. There is also a big mirror inside.

CONTOUR POWDER: It's matte powder, it's really soft to the touch, super pigmented and it blends super easy, but not overblend. I apply in the holows of my cheeks, on the sides of my forehead and sides of my nose. I am using a angled blush brush for that.

HIGHLIGHTER: I can't really discribe the color, it's not pink, not gold...it's like a neutural? Not sparkly, glittery but it gives you a lovely natural sheen. I apply it donw my nose, on top of my cheek bones, in the center of my forhead, cupids bow and sometimes under my brows. I am using a BH Cosmetics Higlighter brush for that.

BLUSH: It's super soft and pigmented, just like every other Sleek blush. I tought it's the same shade as Rose Gold, but it's not, it is gold-er than Rose Gold and more coraly. Just to compare, in Blush by 3 palette in Lace there is a shade called Guipure, wich looks like Rose Gold also, but when you swatch it is pinkier and not as intense.
So i usually apply this blush on top of other blushes, but sometimes i use it alone. I am applying it with Art Deco Stippling brush.

I am really happy with this palette. It last on my skin whole day, but the primer and setting spray also help. I would really recomend this to everyone who wants to have everything for contouring in one palette. It's perfect for beginers and also someone who is not new to makeup.

Have you tried anything like this yet? What do you think about this palette?

Have a lovely day!

REVIEW: Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Matte Brights

Hello lovelies :)
I recently started to experiment with some more bright colours, but since my make up collection is more neutral oriented with dark colours, I needed some bright palettes. I layed my eyes on this baby. It looks bright as hell and I was interested in the quality of the Makeup Revolution palettes since they came to Slovenia

The packaging is quite big, black with a see trough lid. It is quite similar to MUA packaging, except much bigger. It contains 12 different colours, all matte and looking very bright in the pan. All together there is 14 g of product. You also get a double sided spondge applicator with the palette (I take them out as soon as I get the palette).

The pans are narrow and long. I had no problem with picking product, because my eyeshadow brushes are quite small, but using big brushes with this palette can be hard and problematic. Picking up product generates quite a bit of dust in the pans, and because pans are so narrow you soon have one shade mixing with another.

Sadly the quality of s shadows is quite poor. They mostly go on the lids nicely, with the exception of white, light blue, yellow and light pink, these colours need a bit more packing on to show. There was no fallout while using any of the shadows. They also blend nicely. The main problem is that they do not last a long time on the lids. No matter what I tried they did not last more than 3 hours on me and than they just melted off my lids. I have very oily lids, but most of my other eyeshadows stay intact for at least 7 hours (MUA, Sleek and even Makeup Revolution Mono Eyeshadows).

Here are the swatches. I had to scratch the light blue shadow from the pan to get some pigmentation out of it, now I have a big canyon in my shadow. Orange, the two pinks, purple, both greens and a darker blue all swatch very nicely and also perform very well on the lids.

I really did not want to write a negative review, but that is how I see this palette. I will keep it for playing around, but it is not wearable, because it does not last long enough for me (I love the colours. I already have some of the Makeup Revolution products and I really like them. I heard other palettes are better so I would advise you to try those, but I do not see any reason to buy this palette.

Do you have any of Makeup Revolution products? What Is your experience with them?
I love their mono eyeshadows an lipsticks and I just got two of their cream blushes (I heard they are great).
Have a nice day ;)

REVIEW: MUA Glitter Ball Eyeshadow Palette

Hello lovelies :)
I love MUA eyeshadow palettes, my drawer is full of them. I still miss some dough, so I decided to  buy one more. They sadly have more glittery eyeshadow palettes than matte. I really liked all the colours in this palette when I saw it so I decided to get it aniway, aldough it contains only sparkly eyeshadows.
I hope you will enjoy this review. Do you have any MUA eyeshadow palettes or any MUA favourite products? :)

This is what is written on the back of the palette:
A spectacular collection of eyeshadows that will add sparkle to your eyes for ultimate impact.

This palette contains 12 eyeshadows, total 9,6g of product. These shades have no names, whitch is a shame, because i really like it when a company comes out with clever names for their make up products.

All the swatches are made in one swipe on my skin (I did not use primer for swatches).

There are some really nice shades in this palette such as the first 4 eyeshadows in the first row. The black and forest green are extremley pigmented . These shades blend nicely and have minimum falldown. Most of the falldown consists of glitters. The lighter green shade is a bit less pigmented and a bit more hard to apply, but it is not nonworkable. The white glittery shade is more chunky than previous shades. I think it has bigger glitter than the others and it has more fallout.

The gold and dark brown from the bottom row have both the same consistency as the white shade from the first row (you can see some chunks in the swatch of the gold shade), as they both contain same glitter, but they are also both insanely pigmented and easy to apply. I was a bit disappointed about the pink and purple shade, because they overblend really easily when I wanted to use them together (the third eye look I created).

Here are a few looks I created using this only this palette. I especially like the first and second look. The only thing I miss when using this palette is a matte highlit shade and maybe a matte crease shade but other than that I really like it so far. I never really liked glitter shades but this palette sparked my interest. I will definetly use it again in the future :)

I hope you all ennjoyed this post :)
Thank you for reading :)
Have a nice day ;)

Double wings for double fun :)

Hello lovelies :)
No weekly adventures today. My week was pretty study oriented. April is aproaching quickly whitch means exams, exams and more exams. So I decided to play a bit with my MUA Ever After - Matte Palette. I do not show it much love since I got MUA Smokin palette.
Hope you will enjoy this post ;)

Products used:
* eyeshadows: Fade, Penny, Chino, Fog, Smoke, Unwrap
* Essence I <3 Stage eyeshadow primer
* Catrice cosmetics Eyebrow Filler
*MUA Extreme Curl Mascara (Black)
* Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil (15 Bling Bling)

I first primed my eyes using Essence I <3 Stage eyeshadow primer and sweeped Catrice cosmetics Eyebrow Filler trough my brows. After that I applied Fade on the lid and Chio in the crease, witch I topped with Penny. I also applied a bit of Unwrap on my prow pone to help blend the colours.

REVIEW: MUA Ever After - Matte Palette

Hello lovelies :)

I am a big sucker for matte shadows. So ofcourse I bought MUA Ever After palette that is full of matte shades. In this post I am going to review this pallete and try to justify it taking my heart imediatelly.

The palette comes with ten lovely shadows (10 g each) that go as follows:
upper row from left to right:
Unwrap, Butter, Bare, Taffeta, Fade
lower row from left to right:
Penny, Chino, Truffle, Fog, Smoke

Unwrap, Butter, Bare and Taffeta are your usual natural sheer shades that look practicaly the same on me. The first two are light yellow and the second two are light pink. They appear to be the most dusty and sheer on my eyelids witch is to be expected since they are really light shades. I sadly could not swatch those, they just would not show on my skin, but they are great for blending out harsh edges.

Fade, Penny, Chino and Truffle are the brown shades of the pallete. The first two appear to be more yellow based (warm toned) and the second two appear to be more cool toned. I personaly love every one of them. they are great for an everyday look or for a nice brown smoky eye. I also use Penny oor truffle for my brows.

Fog is the blue colour of the palette. I first thought of this colour as an outsider. I mean, what is this stupid blue doing in my palette! But I used it anyway and I must say I was really pleasantly surprized. The pigmentation is amazing and the colour looks nice on the eyelids.

For me no palette is perfect if it does not have a nice matte black shadow in it. Smoke is just that. Aldough it is not the most pigmented black shadow I own (it is more of a brown black than a black), I do like to use it not only on my eyelids but also as a liner.

This palette is something I reach for every day since I got it, since it is really versitile. I use Taffeta or Butter on my eyelid and Fade in the crease (It is a nice "I have something on my eyelids, but not too much" kind of look) and I can easily transform the look into something more smokey for the night. The colours work well together and they blend rather nice. They are on the more dusty side but I can not hold that against them since they are wonderfully pigmented and last all day on me (I use essence I love stage primer).

Do you have this palette? What do you think of it?

Have a lovely day ;)
