WYCON Calaveras Eye Palette

Hi, lovelies!

Remember me? Today I am back with a review of an eye palette from an Italian brand called Wycon.
I discovered a brand in early spring when a friend got me an eyeshadow stick in Trieste.
I feel in love with the prices and quality. After exploring their website I was hooked.
In April we went to Trieste together and first stop was Wycon store.
It's slightly smaller than Kiko in the city center but so similar in design.

I believe that the prices are 1 or 2€ higher than Kiko, but also I prefer Wycon for quality.
They have a great selection of products, mostly makeup and also some skincare, hair products, nail stuff and so on.

They do special collections and some of them are so eye-catching that it is hard to resist.

So I got, well my dear friend got this palette for me as a birthday gift.
It was from a special collection called Calaveras, that was Skullcandy themed.

''An essential palette in six bold and ultra-pigmented colors. Trendy colors ranging from natural to super strong with an effective and modular texture, which allows the creation of a bold look and color block styles. Anti-crease and fade resistant,''

The box is beautiful and also the palette. The gorgeous indigo blue packaging caught my eye right away.
Palette itself contains 6 eyeshadows and each weights 1,8g plus a mirror.
5 matt and one shimmer.
Pigmented as hell, they blend like dreams and stay on all day.

I think the price was originally 19.90€ but at that time it was on sale for 12,90€ since it was an older collection.

I would definitely recommend you to check Wycon on their website or visit one of their stores in Italy.

Have you ever heard of this brand before? Have you tried anything from them?

Have a lovely day!
Ajda

P.S.: At the end of the week i will post a huge L'Occitane haul ;)

REVIEW: Makeup Revolution Mermaids vs Unicorns Eyeshadow Palette

Hi lovelies!
Today I decided to write a review about this beautiful palette. I bough it for my birthday, at the end of May on Ličila.si for 5,95€.
I'm sorry for the bad pictures, they were taken with my old phone  ;)
The palette comes in a basic Makeup Revolution packaging. Clear lid, with rose gold writing on the front.
It contains 12 colorful shades (14g) and a dual side applicator.
I miss a mirror in Makeup Revolution Redemtion palettes, but at the same time I like the clear lid, so I can see which palette I'm grabbing.
All of the shades are super pigmented, easy to blend and they last on my eyes (with primer) for a whole day!
No i will tell you little bit more about the colors.

THE GREENS
Shade 1: Shimmery light lime green shade with a bit of yellow in it.
Shade 2: Tururqoise green shimmery shade, that looks lovely with my dark brown eyes.
Shade 3: In the pan it looks similar to shade 2, but it's more minty.

THE BLUES
Shade 4: A nice cool toned light blue, very shimmery and it reminds me of Frozen :P
Shade 5:  Shimmery ocean blue.
Shade 6:  This one i almost matt, more like a satin matt. But it's a lovely blue shade. It's the most finely milled shade in the palette so it has some fall out and is very fragile.

THE PINKS/PURPLES
Shade 7: Lovely dark ''midnight'' purple, contains tiny little shimmer.
Shade 8:  I don't know why, but this color blew my mind the first time i swatched it, I don't have any shades like this, Dark pomegranate/burgundy/wine shade of pink.
Shade 9: Don't know how to describe this one. A light purple-pink maybe? No idea, but it's a lovely shade.

THE DARKS
Shade 10: Night sky shade of blue, I really love it as an eyeliner actually.
Shade 11: In a pan looks totally different, than it actually is. When swatched it is almost like a duochrome between dark blue and deep purple.
Shade 12: Just a basic black with silver shimmer.

I really like this palette. Usually I am a fan of natural shades, but sometimes I want something more vibrant! Would recommend it to everyone that love something diffrent sometimes.

If you live in Slovenia you can get it at Ličila.si and if you are international reader, you can get it at Makeup Revolution site.

Have you tried any of Makeup Revolution palettes? Is there any of their palettes that I need to have?

Have a lovely day!

REVIEW: AVON Eye Shadow Primer

Hi lovelies!
It's been a stuggle, from the first day, that I've heard about eye shadow primers and their benefits I was on a hunt for a good primer.
I have oily eyelids and basically no eyeshadows would last for more than an hour without creasing or fading.
I tried at least 6 different primers in the past 4 years, neither of them was good enough.
Well, thanks to Avon, things have changed.

I have 1 or 2 uses left from that pot, so I can give you a proper review now.

I bought mine in June or July for 3,90€!! I think the price is just amazing. The price depends on  campain, but usually it's around 3-4€.

It comes in a little black box and I am a sucker for makeup in boxes.
Inside is a glass pot with black plastick lid.  You get 3g of product inside
The shade you can get is Light Beige, but about a year or so ago, they had 2 shades, I think one was darker.
The color as the name suggests, is light beige. It's really creamy, but after four months of everyday use, it got a bit dryer, but it was still as good as before.
You don't need to apply much.
I use my fingers or Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer brush.
All eyeshadows last all day now!! Incredible! I was so surprised after the first use.
No creasing!
No fading!
Easy to blend eyeshadows on top!
The colors of the eyeshadows are more intense!

I can't even tell you how happy I am, that i found this little pot of magic. Would suggest it to anyone, not only ladies with oily eyelids, since it intensify the colors of eyeshadows.

I've already told you that I only have 1 or 2 uses, but luckily I got a brand new pot in an AVON goodie bag at the Beautiful Bloggers MeetUp conference last Friday.I squeeled from excitement when I saw it in a bag.
I would order a new one anyway, but thanks to AVON i'm good for antoher 4 months! :D

Have you tired this primer? Would you like to?
What is your favorite eyeshadow primer?

Good night! :)

Best Eyeshadow Formula

Hello lovelies :)
I am a self proclamed eyeshadow lover, an eyeshadow junkie if you will :D I like all of the make upr products but eyeshadows are no dobut my favourite. I have quite a stash already but I always want more, because I guess I can never have enough :P Here are some of the best eyeshadows I found on my eyeshadow loving jurney and I would want to share them with you :)

CATRICE VELVET MATT EYESHADOWS:

Theye eyeshadows are the best matte formula I own. They are pigmented, blendable and longlasting on my oily lisds. They also feels so nice, finely milled and soft. The only downside is that they are really prone to breaking. I have two Al Burgundy shades and both are broken. I would really like to see this type of eyeshadows in a palette, since I do like to use palettes more than I like to use singles.

CATRICE ABSOLUTE MATT EYESHADOW PALETTE:

For all of you neutral matt eyeshadow lovers, Catrice has you covered. This palette is really beautifull and the formula of the eyeshadows is really nice. Aldough they are a bit more powdery than Velvet Matt eyeshadows they are still opaque and blend nicely. There is laso minimal fallout. This is a very nice everyday palette that is also good for traveling, since it is in a small and slim packaging.

MEMEME QUAD 03 OCEAN EYES:

I got this quad recently and I must say I am not disappointed by it. Aldough it is all shimmery the eyeshadows are really opaque and last a long time on my lids. They also blend nicely and this perticular quad looks gorgeous on brown eyes. Since these are baked eyeshadows they can be used wet, but there is really no use for it, since they are soo opaque on its own.

TERRA NATURI MATTE MONO EYESHADOW IN 02 MULBERRY & METALLIC MONO EYESHADOW IN 08 BLUE LAGOON:

I think these eyeshadows are kinda forgoten, since not many people buy from Terra Natury, but these two shades are just awesome. They apply and blend nicely, the matte shade is not chalky and dry and the metallic shade does not look to shimmery. There is minimal fallout on both of these shades. I do not know about other eyeshadows from this line, but these two are definetly very good.

WET'N'WILD WALKING ON EGSHELLS, PETAL PUSHER & BLUE HAD ME AT HELLO:

These three palettes are some of the cheapest palettes I own and they have a really good formula. All of the shades are opaque, except from two from the Petal Pusher palette. I think these are really good for somebody that wants to try some colour and is not afraid of shimmer, since almost all of the colours are shimmery. They blend really nicely and last surprizingly long on my lids. There is minimal fallout, mostly glitter.

SUGARPILL ADDICTED TO PRETTY HEART BREAKER PALETTE:

I was eyeing this palette since I first heard about Sugarpill and I was finally able to get it! I am really happy with the quality and performance of these shadows. Aldough they are on the more expensive side I think that they are worth the money, since the eyeshadows are really pigmented, they blend like a dream and last forever. Not to forget that there is really a lot of product in every pan, so finishing off these eyeshadows is probably mission impossible :)

MUA UNDRESS ME, UNDRESS ME TOO, EVER AFTER - MATTE PALETTE & SMOKIN PALETTE:

I own quite a few MUA eyeshadow palettes and aldough not all of them are good these 4 definetly are top notch eyeshadow palettes for drugstore prices. They are really opaque and blendable, matte shades are not too powdery and glittery shades do not turn into a glitter bomb that just exploded all over your face. Undress me and Undress me too are dupes for Urban Decay Naked 1 and 2 palettes and Smokin palette is a dupe for Urban Decay Smoked palette.

SLEEK MINERAL EYESHADOW PALETTES:

I do not think we can talk about best eyeshadow formula without mentioning Sleek. They make one of the best if not the best eyeshadows for the price that come in a sturdy as hell packaging (believe me, I depoted two of the palettes. It was a nightmare... these eyeshadows have better packaging than any of the game consoles I came across... and that is saying a lot). Not only the packaging but the formula is superb. How do you know a company is doing a really good job with their eyeshadows? Test their matte and bright colours, those are some of the hardest colours to do right in my oppinion and Sleek has done it! Their matte eyeshadows are pigmented and blend nicely, their palettes have nice colour layout, their glittery eyeshadows have a nice, not too shiny finish, they last, fade minimaly and do not have a lot of fallout. Not to mention the awesome shade selection they offer.

Did you try any of the eyeshadows mentioned in this post? What do you think about them? Which are your favourite eyeshadows?
Thank you for reading?
Have a nice day ;)

REVIEW: Terra Naturi mono eyeshadows

 Hello lovelies :)
the blush I reviewed in the previous post was not the only product I bought from Terra Naturi. I saw these two mono eyeshadows and they seemed interesting to me. I like Terra Naturi stands, because you can swatch everything right then and there and decide wether or not you want to buy it. I was quite plesantly surprized when I swatched these in the store, so I decided to buy them.
And here is what I think about these shadows:

MATTE MONO EYESHADOW - 02 MULBERRY

Mulberry is a nice matte brown with a hint of purple. It is not chalky at all (as it is a standard with matte eyeshadows), instead it is quite buttery, it swatches nicely and it appears very pigmented on the lid. The shade blends nicely and there is minimal fallout. It faded a bit troughout the day, but it was still visible at the end of the day.

METALLIC MONO EYESHADOW - 08 BLUE LAGOON

Blue lagoon is a nice blue shade with sparkle. It is creamy and appears very intense on lids. I had no problem blending it. There was a bit of fallout when I used it (mostly sparkle) and it did not crease troughout the whole day. It faded a bit troughout the day, but it was still visible at the end of the day.

Both eyeshadows come in a smal brown square packaging with round edges that is made out of plastic. The packaging is quite sturdy and easy to carry around.

I am happy with both colours. There are more colours in their collection, but only those two seemed interesting to me :)
Did you try any of Terra Naturi eyeshadows?
Have a nice day ;)

20$ makeup #2 - Tjaša

Hello lovelies :)
Today I have for you another 20$ / 16 makeup :). I am using all essence products today, since this is the cheapest brand here in Slovenia and some of the products are quite nice for the money you pay. So let's se what I used in this look :)
