Blogmas Day 2: NOTD Catrice It's A Very Berry Bash

Hello lovelies!

Today I will be short, but i wanted to shear this beautiful Catrice nail polish  in It's A Very Berry Bash. This beauty was in a Catrice goodie bag at a bloggers conference in October. When I saw it, we clicked instantly.

The shade is a dark berry/red, with cream finish and 2 coats are enough. It dries faster than other Catrice polishes I've tried in the past.
For this manicure I've also added China Glaze in Golden Enchantment on my ring and middle finger. China Glaze polish was given to me by Tamara in summer and I just love it. Thanks again! ;)

So if you like berry shades perfect for fall, I highly recommend this shade, you won't be sorry ;)

Have a wonderful evening!

My Skincare Basket/ Routine

Hey lovelies,
i love reading posts about other people skincare products and finding some new products for me that way. Today i will go trough my skincare basket, that i keep in my bathroom. There are also 3 diferent kinds of cotton (round pads, big pads and cotton balls), but i forgot to take a picture. I also use lots of lip balms, and sometimes makeup wipes, but i keep those in my nightstand drawer, if you would like to see what i keep in there, please let me know :D

I got the basket in JYSK for around 7€ and i just the perfect size to fit all the products and it fits perfectly on my space on the washing machine.
My skin is sometimes oily, sometimes dry, but most of the time is just both...oily with dry patches around my nose and on cheeks.
 Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I don't even know many bottles i've used up till now. I use it every single day, it removes all the makeup and it my skin is not tight and dry after i use it. I will probably use this one till the rest of my life :D
Comfort Zone Everyday make-up remover
I got this make-up remover for my birthday, from my mother-in-law. I'm not a huge fan of it as it's an oil based remover. It's one of those 2-phase one that you need to shake. I use it sometimes if my mascara and eyeliner are realy hard to remove with micellar water.
 Krasna Cleansing Foam
Let me just start with the fact that this foam smells like lavander, it's perfect for evenings!
I use it every other day after i remove my makeup.
Cien Gentle Cleansing Milk
I got this milk few months ago in Lidl, and yes i am a sucker for products with pumps :P
It's a nice white cream, the scent reminds em of Nivea original scent. You just massage it on your face and then remove it with a clean cotton pad or with water. I use this one on the days, when i am not using the Krasna foam :)

Cien Refreashing Facial Toner (normal & combination skin version)
Got this at the same time as the cleansing milk in Lidl. They also have pink version (dry and sensitive skin i think?). It's really refreshing and i use it after i cleanse my face. It has a pump like some nail polish removers and it's awesome :D
Balea Clear-up strips
I've been using this since my teenage years. It's really amazing with removing blackheads on my nose. And my boyfriend also discoverd that this things are awesome :D I use it once a week, mostly on the days when i also use a mask.
Johnny Orgazmus Cacao Glow facial scrub & mask
This smells like chocolate cake :D You can use it as a scrub or a mask. I like it for both. Usualy i will use it once a week. I mix one teaspoon with the same amount of water, so i get a creamy paste. Apply it on my face and then i leave it for 20 minutes. After that time i put some water on my face and masage the mask off...so at the same time i exfoliate my face.
Krasna Dry Face Scrub
This scrub contains avena flour, cannabis flour, green clay, lavander oil, juniper oil and some other goodies. It smells wonderfull. I mix one teaspoon with water and masage it on my face once a week. It makes my skin really soft and not dry at all.
Green Line HydroMineral light moisturizing day cream (for mixed and oily skin)
My holly grail moisturizer, i've been searching for a good moisturizer for a looong long time. And after i saw some reviews about HydroMineral line i was sold. The scent is' lovely, refreshing and not overpowering. It's a light cream and soaks quickly. I use it every morning after cleanser and before i put my makeup on.
Green Line HydroMineral regenerating moisturizing night cream
Since i love the day cream i was super excited when i found out that they started selling the night cream. It's for all skin tipes, the scent is almost the same as the day cream, but it's thicker. I love it, use it every night.
Balea  Aqua eye roll-on with mineral water
This is my morning eye cream. It has a roll-on wich helps with puffines on my under eye area. It's light but still moisturizing.
Balea Vital eye & lip cream
It's thicker, then the Aqua one. I use it at night on my eye area and around my lips.
Catrice Lash Plus Intensive  lash growth serum
I still have 2 backups since some time ago when Catrice discontinued this product. It's a lash serum, wich helps you to grow longer and healthier lashes.I apply it like an eyeliner before i go to bed. And yes the results are there ;)
Lush Bubblegum lip scrub
I think almost all beauty bloggers rave about Lush lip scrubs. Mine is almost empty and i am planning to get a new one but maybe in a diferent scent, or why not 2 :D I use it every other day in the morning, before makeup.
CV S.O.S. Anti-pickel gel
I haven't use this gel in a while. But it's just a gel with zink and salicy acid, that i use if i get any brakeuts to dry them out.
Face cleansing sponge
I got a pack of 3 sponges in Mueller a while ago,. so i don't know what brend they are, but i know Eco Tools makes them to. I use it wet for removing cleansers and scrubs from my face.
Silk'n Dual Clean face brush
There is no secret that i wanted the Clairsonic or Magnitone for a while, but the prices of those two are to hig for my pocket. So i got really excited when i saw this brush in Hofer for only 17€. I love the brush it's nto too soft or too hard, it has a cap to protect it, 2 speeds and is waterproof, oh and ofcourse pink :D I use it every morning and night with cleansers or just with water.
You also get a bag to store your brush in ( great for traveling) and a ''handlee'' instead of a brush, where you can place a cotton pad on.
Ebelin Face peeling + massage pad
I use this pad for cleaning my brushes, but i keep it in my basket, so i will talk abot more in a How i clean my brushes post, if you would like to see that :)

That's it for today, hope you liked this post! :)
Let me know if you tried any of those products and if you have any recomedations for me to try, just put it down in comments :D

Have a lovely day!

P.S.: Pictures were taken with my old camera, because my phone was charging and the it was raining outside, so excuse the quality of them :)

REVIEW: Catrice Le Grand Bleu Eye Shadow Pen - C01 Black's pearl

Hello lovelies :)
I hopefully am not late to this party, because Catrice Le Grand Bleu limited edition came out in June, But I hope that products can still be found somewhere if you decided that you like this product (or anny other from their line).

This eye pencil shadow comes in a few different colours, I got mine in C01 Black's Pearl, which is a beautifull pale pink with a lot of silver and gold glitter. It comes in a pencil form (the pencil does not need to be sharpened, because it is a autpropelling pencil).

It applies quite nicely, can feel a bit chunky if applied too much, because it is really packed with glitter. It is really buttery when applied and it gives you some time to work with, before it sets. Once it sets it stays on the lids. It can Flake after a while if you apply too much, but it is very opaque, so there is no need to pile the product on the lids. It does not feel heavy and it does not dry out my eye lids (aldough it becomes really dry when it sets). It did not crease on me for more than 8 hours and it did not fade.

While I really like this colour for it's formula, colour and staying power I can not get over a fact that it contains carmine, which is a big drawback for me, because my eye area is quite sensitive to carmine. I had no problems with this product (I experienced some swelling around the eyes when I used some other products that contained carmine), but I would not recommend to use this product anywhere near the waterline just in case (since it is an eye shadow pencil it is not ment to go on the water line anyway).

What do you think about this product? Did you get any products from Le Grand Bleu collection? What do you think about carmine? Does it irritate you or not?
Have a nice day ;)

REVIEW: Catrice Luxury Laquers

Hello lovelies :)
Today I have for you a review of some new limited edition Catrice polishes called Luxury Laquers. They como in three different forms, holographic, sand effect and glitter, all in multiple colours. I bought one of each in purple... because there is never enough purple :)
So here are some swatches and my oppinion :)

Plum Me Up Scotty (Holomania)

Plum me up Scotty is a beautiful purple holographic polish with a seriously awesome name :) It is opaqe in only one coat, but I used two, because old habits die hard. It lasts on my nails around 2 days before chipping, without any top coat. It is easy to remove and it dries quite fast.

PLUMbeach (sand sation)

A nice sand effect polish that is more of a pinkish violet. I find it less rough than PLUMdogMillionare from their Crushed Crystals collection. It lasts around 2 - 3 days before it chipps, without top coat and is harder to remove. I needed 2 coats for full opacity (it also states soo on the bottle).

The Big Bling Theory (million brilliance)

This polish was the biggest disappointment of the three. It contains bigger and smaller round purple glitters in a transparent base. It did not cover my nails completly even after 2 coats. I think it is better to use it as a layering polish than on its own. It lasted on me for 3 days without chipping. It is the hardest to remove of the three.

All three polishes contain 10 ml of product and are in a standard Catrice packaging with a black lid.
They all have a big brush, that is cut on the edges and the brisles are not all the same lenght. It is a shame, because with the right brush these polishes could be even more awesome.

All and all they are quite nice, especially the holographic polishes. There are really some pretty colours and the formula is quite nice, I just wish they would start to make better brushes.

Did you get any of these new polishes? Yay or nay for you?
Have a nice day ;)

REVIEW: Catrice Crushed Crystals - 02 PLUMdogMillionare

Hello Lovelies :)
Today I have for you I quick review of a new Catrice polish.  This colour was the only one that I wanted to get from their crushed crystal, others just were not my cup of tea. (fun fact, I forgot these are the "sand effect" polishes... and I really hate any kind of texture on my nails... oh the first world problems :P)

PLUMdogMillionare is a pourple based polish with pink, blue and purple glitters that are all the same size (small and round).

It has a standard Catrice brush. I personally do not really like it, but it is not the most crappy brush eather. The polish applies  quite nicely, and can be worn alone, or topped over any other polish. I wore it over some black and light purple polish and it looked better than on its own (in my oppinion).
Even after two coats there can appear some "bald spots" on the nails (a part of the nail looks patchy), so I would advice using three coats.

On these pictures I used only two coats, and there were some lighter patches on the middle finger, but it does not look like that in the picture.

This polish did not chip on me for about two to three days, but I did get worn down nail tips on some of my nails. Because of the type of the polish, you can expect it being hard to remove, and let me tell you, it is really not pleasant. Foil technique is the best choice for removing this pretty fella, because you can damage your nails if you try to do it any other way.

Did you get any polishes from the Crushes Crystals line, or any new Catrice products in general?
I hope you enjoyed this post ;)
Have a nice day ;)

REVIEW: Catrice All Matt Plus Shine Control

Hello lovelies :)
Today I have for you another review. This time I am reviewing a foundation that was recommended to me by Ajda. Hope you will enjoy the post :)

This foundation is supposed to be good for oily skin, since it claims that it is mattifying, longlasting and oil free. I must say it is quite mattifying, aldough I can still see a hint of shine when I apply the foundation, it still gives me a nice natural glow (this might be because my skin is naturally very very oily). It is really longlasting and has a nice medium to full covaridge, depending on how much you put on your face. It is buildable, however it can look cakey if you apply it too much. It also does not feel heavy on my skin, probably because it does not contain oil.

It comes in a nice glass packaging with a black lid and a pump. (as you can see in the pictures, it can get messy quite quickly... I would like to say it is not my fault that the pump is all messy, but it probably is...)

It is quite thick so it might not be ideal for summer, but it is nice to wear in the winter. I got mine in shade 030 Warm Beige and it is quite dark, so I might buy a lighter shade for winter months, aldough i can still make this shade work.

I think this foundation is worth trying. It is quite cheap (under 7e) and some say it is almost the same as Revlon Colorstay (I do not own Revlon Colorstay so I do not know if this is true or not). The only downside I see is a limited shade selection.

Did you try this foundation? What do you think?
Have a nice day ;)

Best of beauty 2013 - Tjaša

Hello lovelies :)
Today I will present to you the make up products that I liked/used the most in 2013 :)
I hope you will all enjoy this post.

Primer : essence i love stage eyeshadow base.
I am going to go with an eyeshadow primer here just because I do not use face primers. I like this one because it is a bit orange wich helps hide any wierdness on my eyelids and it is a bit more dry when it sets ( I tend to have very oily eye lids).

Foundation: essence all in one bb cream.
I usually use this product because it is not so heavy on my skin and I usualy do not go full covaridge. It has a nice texture

and spf 30 witch is always a plus.

Concealer: essence stay all day long-lasting concealer.
Nice for under eye area since it does not cake up. Nicely coveres little imperfections, redness and under eye circles.

Bronzer: catrice cosmetics sun glow matt bronzing powder medium skin.
I do not usualy contour but when I do this is my go to powder. It is matte and appeares nice and natural on my skin.

Blush: catrice defining blush in 020 Rose Royce.
Three reasons: It is the only blush I have (I do not use blush on the daily basis just because I do not feel that I need it), nice colour and awesome name.

Highlighter :
I do not use highliter on a daily basis and if I do want to highlit any areas i usualy use an eyeshadow that is a shade or two lighter than my skin tone. I do not have a favourite product in this department.

Brow product:
For bold brows I use maybelline color tattoo in 40-Permanent Taupe (it is a bit lighter than my actual brow colour… my brows are two black big caterpillars…). It has a really nice texture and i feel that it is easy to work with, really stays on even if I do not set it with powder and it fills my eye brows nicely

Eye Shadow Palette: mua undressed.
I was in a big dilema here, because I realy like Sleek Vintage Romance, but I feel that the Undressed pallete is much more versitile and suitable for night and day looks (Do not get me wrong, Vintage Romance is AH-mazing). Colours work nicely together and pigmentation is awesome for such a low price.

Eye Liner : Catrice made to stay inside eye highliter pen in 010 In The Mood For Nude.
Nice peachy pink colour that really stays in the water line.  I really only use liners for my waterline, for  my upper lid I use eye shadow to line.

Mascara: MUA extreme curl mascara in black

While I did not feel I really got that explosive volume or curl when I used it, it made my lashes look nice with just one coat and it did not clump them together.

Lip Pencil : essence lip liner in 06 satin mauve
I have this little guy for quite some time now and it is my only lip pencil (again as with the blush, I do not feel I need it on the daily basis).

Lipstick: mua matte lipstick in wild berry.

A very nice winter colour and berry colour in general. Smells nice, lasts a reasonable amount of time and does not dry my lips as much.

Lip Gloss :

I do not really use lip gloss so I will cheat here and say Manhattan soft mat lipcream in 54L (i guess that is the name of the colour). Nice colour that dryes completly matte and lasts quite some time (smooch proof). The only downside is that it takes quite a bit of time to dry and it does make my lips really dry.

Beauty Subscription:

well you see, I have quite a boring life so I do not have any beauty subscriptions (do emails from Ličila.si and MUA count? :P). I usualy play video games, read books, study… ain't nobody have time for beauty subsctibtions…

Tool :

BH cosmetics eyeliner brush and the fluffy blendy brush (sorry, i do not know the real names of those things if they even have a name). The fluffy blendy brush is really soft and blends eyeshadow really well and the eyeliner brush is really versitile (i use it for eye liner, filling in my brows, concealing under my brows or around my lips).

Have a nice day ;)
