Yes i am still alive! :) I know i haven't post anything in ages, but i am really sorry, i just had so much work for college and didn't have time. I actualy really missed blogging. So today i will show you products that i got since my last post. Hope you will like it.

Summer wishlist

Summer is here and I made a new wishlist. That does not mean I forgot abut all the products from the spring wishlist, I am adding them to the party :P Just 10 products are there, but believe me, I found many beautifull things while browsing trough the old webs.

1. Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette

Packaging is big and looks like chocolate, eye shadows smell like chocolate and the colour selection is awesome. Do I need to say more... :P

REVIEW: Catrice Le Grand Bleu Eye Shadow Pen - C01 Black's pearl

I hopefully am not late to this party, because Catrice Le Grand Bleu limited edition came out in June, But I hope that products can still be found somewhere if you decided that you like this product (or anny other from their line).


 

This eye pencil shadow comes in a few different colours, I got mine in C01 Black's Pearl, which is a beautifull pale pink with a lot of silver and gold glitter. It comes in a pencil form (the pencil does not need to be sharpened, because it is a auto propelling pencil).

It applies quite nicely, can feel a bit chunky if applied too much, because it is really packed with glitter. It is really buttery when applied and it gives you some time to work with, before it sets. Once it sets it stays on the lids. It can Flake after a while if you apply too much, but it is very opaque, so there is no need to pile the product on the lids. It does not feel heavy and it does not dry out my eye lids (aldough it becomes really dry when it sets). It did not crease on me for more than 8 hours and it did not fade. 

While I really like this colour for it's formula, colour and staying power I can not get over a fact that it contains carmine, which is a big drawback for me, because my eye area is quite sensitive to carmine. I had no problems with this product (I experienced some swelling around the eyes when I used some other products that contained carmine), but I would not recommend to use this product anywhere near the waterline just in case (since it is an eye shadow pencil it is not ment to go on the water line anyway).

What do you think about this product? Did you get any products from Le Grand Bleu collection? What do you think about carmine? Does it irritate you or not?

REVIEW: Jordana 12hr made to last eyeshadow pencil (01 eternal white)

Do you like eyeshadow pencils? I do :) They are usually easy to use and longlasting. I was looking for a white eyeshadow pencil to use as an eyeshadow base, but NYX jumbo pencil in milk did not really float my boat (I do not have anything about this product, it just never appealed to me), so I was searching for some nice alternatives. I think I found my holy grail of eyeshadow pencils in this product :)

This product comes in a nice black packaging with a transparent lid and white end. It is basically one of those fat pencils :) It is quite sturdy and travel friendly, I had it in my purse for over a week and it stayed intact, nothing rubbed off and the lid did not come off or break eather. This is sadly not one of those propelling pencils, so it needs to be sharpened, but if you own a pencil sharpener it should not be a problem :)

Now to the actual formula, in which I was interested the most. This pencil feels really creamy when applied to the lid and it gives you some time to work with it and blend before it sets. When it sets it stays in place, does not rubb off or crease. I used it as an eye shadow base and it worked beautifully. It really made eye shadows pop and it lenghtened the longevity of eye shadows. I tied it with and without a primer underneath and it did not make any difference, so this is not only an eye shadow pencil, but it can also work as an eye primer. It lasted on me for more than 12 hours  which is extreme, considering my lids get really oily troughout the day. I also tried it on the waterline and it really stayed there a long time, but it did irritate my eyes a bit.

Overall I REALLLLLLLLLLLY like this product :) There is really nothing bad I can say about it. I will definetly repurchase this item once I run out of it. I got this product from Destination Pretty online store, that is run by Slovenian blogger Sandra. She also ships internationally :)
