Top 5 Catrice products

Hello lovelies :D

I have a confession to make. I love Catrice. At this point I am basically ready to be initiated in the Catrice Lovers Forever cult. While some of their products do not amaze me, most products are true drugstore gems. My daily make up routine includes at least a few Catrice products sometimes even only Catrice products. I guess that speaks volumes. It was quite hard to pick only 5 items, nut I must say that these are really items that I reach for daily.

 

CATRICE DEFINING BLUSHES

I currently own three of these (the hot pink blush called pinkerbell found it's new home with Tamara from Our way every day) and I love them all to bits. The formula is really nice and from time to time they put out a spectacular colour. Although the shade range is a bit lacking in my opinion (every company should have more colours in their blush range... just sayin'), the shades available are quite neat and they usually come out with new colours every year.

PRIME AND FINE PROFESSIONAL CONTOURING PALETTE (010 ASHY RADIANCE)

Honestly, contouring was never easy for me. I usually skipped it, because it can look really unnatural, but then this product came along and it changed my contouring routine for good. Both, highlight and the contour shade, look really natural on my skin and they blend nicely, which is a big plus for me :D 

BEAUTIFYING LIP SMOOTHER (060 BLACKBERRY MUFFIN)

I love all colours from the Beautifying lip smoother line, but this one has a special place in my heart, because of one simple fact... it is berry! Well slightly berry. Honestly anything berry is good in my book and of course this colour is no exception. It gives my lips a nice juicy colour with a bit of shine. It sadly does have a bit of glitter, but the glitter is not visible once the product is on the lips and you also can not feel the glitter.

ULTIMATE STAY LIPSTICK (070 PLUM & BASE)

I like all of the lipsticks from Catrice, that I have tried thus far, but this colour I adore. It is called 070 Plum & Base and is a nice dark plum shade. This lipstick has a really nice formula that is slightly hydrating and glides nicely on the lips. It also feels really nice on the lips and it is not strongly scented. While it does not last as long as my Wet'n'Wild lipstick, it is not as drying, which means that it is more suitable for everyday use.

ABSOLUTE MATT EYESHADOW PALETTE

In my opinion this is an absolute essential. The palette is purely matte with a nice range of basic neutrals. No matter what make up you like to wear, you need eyeshadow like that. I love to use this palette with more colorful palettes, to make the overall look more polished and less 'screamy'. I also sometimes mix the third and the last eyeshadow and use them in my eyebrows, since they make a nice eyebrow colour for me. I feel like this is one of my staples in my collection and, if I could have only one palette all my life, this one would probably be the palette :D

There are of course more products that I like from Catrice, but those are the ones I use on a daily basis. I seriously can not imagine doing my make up without these products.

Top 5 Summer lippies

Hello lovelies:)

After top 5 summer make up products and top 5 summer nail polishes it is time for top 5 summer lippies. I have four lipsticks and a lip liner with you to share, ranging from a brownish nude to a berry colour, all from drugstore :) I have been really loving these colours lately and some of them (like Mauve your Lips by Catrice) found a permanent place in my pocket, so I can keep my lip colour fresh troughout the whole day :)

CATRICE ULTIMATE STAY LIPSTICK - 050 MAUVE YOUR LIPS

I got this lipstick in october on the Catrice and Essence event, and at first I wanted to give it away because I was sceptical about the colour. I never wore nudes like that before and honestly I did not know what to expect. I fell in love with it immediately upon the first application. The formula and the colour are one of my favourites

ESSENCE LONGLASTING LIPSTICK - 03 COME NATURALLY

I like the fact that this brownish nude has just a litle hint of purple mixed into it. It is a really nice twist in my oppinion. It is has a much cooler undertone than Mauve your lips, so I like to use them interchangebly, depending on the overall tone of my eyes and cheeks.

WET'N'WILD MEGA LAST MATTE LIPSTICK - 903C JUST PEACHY

A very pretty peachy nude, that looks quite stark on me when applied with full opacity, but when I sheered it out it really becomes a nice natural lip colour with a hint of peach mixed into it. This is definetly one of the shades I have been wearing like crazy lately :)

WET'N'WILD MEGA LAST MATTE LIPSTICK - 909D CORAL-INE

I do not usually wear red lipstick, but when I do it is Coral-ine by Wet'n'Wild. The reason is it's matte finish and longevity on the lips. I do not care for the warm undertone of the lipstick, because I like blue toned reds more, but I feel like warm toned reds suit me more, because of my warm skin undertone. Sadly I do not have any blue toned red's that would be quite as longlasting as this one, and to be honest longevity is my biggest concern when it comes to red lipsticks, especially in the summer.

ESSENCE LONGLASTING LIPLINER - 03 YUMMY BERRY

Berry and plum might be my favourite lip colours (alongside with brownish neutrals), so there is no way I would go a season without a berry tone on my lips. I have been loving the Essence longlasting lipliner formula for quite some time and alongside lovely frappuccino (which I already finished...), yummy berry is my favourite colour. It is berry, but to me it has more of a summer vibe than fall or winter and that makes it quite unique in my collection full of dark berry and plums.

Top 5 Summer Nail Polishes

Hello lovelies :)

I wanted to continuoue with the theme of Top 5 Summer X, So there will be 2 more posts in this category. Today I am presenting to you my top 5 summer nail polishes that I will be rocking all summer long and in the next few days I will also write about my Top 5 Lippies for summer time.

CATRICE LUXURY NUDES - 06 MAGICAL NUDE

One of my favourite nudes since it has a slight purple undertone and is a bit darker than some other nudes. Some light nudes that are popular right now really do not suit me, because of my warm undertone, but this one is just made for me. 

ESSENCE THE GEL NAIL POLISH - 37 SERENDIPIDY

One of the favourite nail polishes I got in the past few months. It is a light dusty lavender colour that is right up my alley. I fell in love with it the forst time I saw it and I love it still. I have been wearing it quite a lot in the past months.

ESSENCE GLITTER TOPPER (CINDERELLA LE) - 01 THE GLASS SLIPPER

I love to use this glitter topper over serendipidy or other purple nailpolishes, since it has a nice purple hue to it. It contains silver little hexagons and circles mixed with purple micro glitter. It looks really pretty and shiny on the nails.

ESSENCE NAIL POLSIH (NAUTI GIRL LE) - 02 OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN

At first I did not think that I will get anything from the Essence nauti girl collection, but this nail polish cought my eye, which is quite strange, since I do not wear blue often on my nails or eyes. It is a really pretty blue shade, perfect for summer, with a superb formula. You can read the full review here.

ESSENCE THE GEL NAIL POLISH - 33 WILD WHITE WAYS

I own three white nail polishes at the moment and this one is my favourite. I think that it dryes the fastest and looks nice and glossy on the nails. I also love how opaque it is and the fact that it lasts on my nails for quite a few days :)
