NEW IN: January

Hello lovelies :)
I did not write a new in post in a long time, so I decided to share with you what I got this month. It is not much, since I had quite a lot of studying and working to do, so there was no time to wander around drugstores and enjoy all the make up :P Here is a little something I got myself, hope you will enjoy reading :)

AFRODITA ALOE VERA HYDRA TONIC

My skin is a bit irritated lately, probably because of the weather. I wanted to bring some more moisture into my skin care and decided to try out this tonic by Afrodita. So far I really like it. It provides moisture and calms down my skin and it also soaks into the skin really quickly leaving my skin soft. It is ment more for dry skin, but so far it works on my oily skin.

ESSENCE EFFECT GEL TOP COAT

These lovelies are being discontinuoued, so I grabed one while I still had a chance. I really like the torquise flecks in the gel. It is nice and chunky. I did not try it out yet, but I can not wait to use it.

ESSENCE NUDE LIPSTICKS

Essence recently came out with a nude collection and ofcourse I could not wait to get my hands on some lipsticks. They also have pretty lip glosses and nail polishes, but I decided to get only these two beauties. So far I really like both of the lipsticks. I will write a review soon :)

CATRICE MATT NAIL LACQUER ( ROCK-O-CO LE)

When I saw the promo pictures I really liked the packaging, but was not sure If I would like the colours. I fell in love imediately with both of the colours when I saw them in person and they are also matt, which is a bit plus for me. I will definetly write a review soon :)

What did you get this month?
Have a nice day :)

REVIEW: Sleek blush By 3 - Lace

Hello lovelies :)
Today I am sharing with a product that was on my wishlist for quite some time. I finally bought this blush palette back in summer, but since I rotate my blushes I did not use it as much as I would like. I have used it quite a lot now, so I think I am ready to give you my thought on this product :)

This blush trio comes in a nice sleek black packaging that is really sturdy and great for traveling. It also has a mirror. There is 20g/0.68oz of product, which is quite a lot considering how pigmented these blushes are.

There are two matte and one shimmery blush in the palette. All of the blushes are very pigmented and easy to use. They can also be sheered out. They apply nicely, without patchyness or streakyness and buff nicely into the skin. The matte shades do kick up a bit of product when you put your brush into them, the shimmery shade is not powdery. All of the shades last the whole day on my cheeks. This palette is really nice for layering and getting different colours.

CROCHET: A matte orange colour that can be sheered out to ad a bit of healthy glow to the cheeks or applied more bold for somebody that is a bit more daring.

GUIPURE: A beautifull pinky peach shade that contains golden shimmer, but does not look to shimmery on the face. It ads a nice glow while still looking natural.

CHANTILY: A reddish orange that packs a lot of pigmentation. Requires quite a lot of work to be sheered out, but if you take your time with it you will surely end up with a beautifull colour on your cheeks.

I am very satisfyed with the quality and pigmentation of these blushes. Aldough you can easily overapply them, they can also easily be sheered down. I found that using a not so dense blush brush works the best, since you are not picking up as mush product as with the standard blush brush.

Do you have any sleek blushes? What do you think of them?
Thank you for reading :)
Have a nice day :)

Products I Plan To Repurchase

Hello lovelies :)
I have quite a big collection (well it is big for me at least) and trhere are definetly some items in it that I really like an will repurchase once I finish them, aldough I am not even close on finishing some of them :)

CATRICE LIQUID LINER (010 DATING JOE BLACK)
I was not big on liquid liners for quite some time, aldough I used to love them  back in the day. Now this Catrice liner is a holy grail in my make up rutine. Every time I have some time to do a line I grab this bad boy. It is really easy to apply, opaque and it dries matt.

CATRICE ALL MATT PLUS SHINE CONTROL MAKE UP (010 LIGHT BEIGE)
This is one of the best foundations I found in the drugstore, that work for me. It suits me really good, especially in the winter. I will probably use it up soon and I might not rebuy it right away, since I have some foundations for summer, but I will definetly buy it before winter starts again

ESSENCE ALL ABOUT MATT FIXING COMPACT POWDER
While this powder can be a bit too mattifying for some it is perfect for me, since I have and oil spill for the face. I already repurchased it and I will definetly do it again, once I run out of it. Aldough I have quite a lot of face powders already, so maybe I should finish some of those first, before I decide to buy a new one.

CATRICE LIPSTICK (050 MAUVE YOUR LIPS)
I am loving this lipstick soo much!! I already used up quite abig chunk of it and it is always by my side eather in my purse or pocket. I do not think I can live without it once I run out of it :)

ESSENCE LONGLASTING LIPSTICK (07 NATURAL BEAUTY)
The same as with the Catrice lipstick, I love this one. It is pretty much a colour that suits every occasion and make up. Have a neutral make up and you do not know what to wear? Natural beauty. Have a bold eye make up but want some colour on your lips as well? Natural beauty :) I opt for this lipstick whenever I do not know what else to wear on my lips.

WET'N'WILD LIPSTICK (SUGAR PLUM FAIRY)
I love this shade. Do not get me wrong, I love all of my plum lipsticks, but this one has a special spot in my heart, since I can wear it without fearing it smearing all over my face or fading unevenly. It is perfect when you want a dark lip but do not have the time to reapply it every 5 seconds.

TERRA NATURI ROUGE PUDER (04 ROYAL APRICOT)
This is my favourite blush since I got it. I love it's colour, the way it applies, smells and looks on the skin. It is a blush that I use mostly every day.

NYX BUTTER GLOSSES
Not only will I rebuy them, I am also planning to get more colours in the future, once I finish up some of my other glosses.

CATRICE VELVET FINISH CONCEALER (010VELVET IVORY)
This is one of the best concealers I have right now and it really works with my under eye area. I like the formula, pigmentation, how it sets and how it looks troughout the day.

ESSENCE LIPLINER (13 TRANSLUCENT)
I do not use this as a lipliner but rather as a lip primer before I apply lipstick and it does make quite a difference, especially when applying matte lipsticks, that tend to be a bit more dry. It is soft and provides a bit more slip on the lips, which is not ideal for more creamy lipsticks but does wonders for applying matt lipsticks.

JORDANA 12HR MADE TO LAST EYESHADOW PENCIL (04 CONTINUOUS ALMOND)
I use this procust exclusively as an eye primer. It is really opaque, blends nicely and sets quickly into a matte base, that is perfect for applying eyeshadows on. It does last longer on my lids than the Essence primer, so I especially like to use it when I know that my make up needs to last troughout the day.

What are some of your products that you really like and will likely repurchase in the future?
Have a nice day :)
Thank you for reading :)

Best Eyeshadow Formula

Hello lovelies :)
I am a self proclamed eyeshadow lover, an eyeshadow junkie if you will :D I like all of the make upr products but eyeshadows are no dobut my favourite. I have quite a stash already but I always want more, because I guess I can never have enough :P Here are some of the best eyeshadows I found on my eyeshadow loving jurney and I would want to share them with you :)

CATRICE VELVET MATT EYESHADOWS:

Theye eyeshadows are the best matte formula I own. They are pigmented, blendable and longlasting on my oily lisds. They also feels so nice, finely milled and soft. The only downside is that they are really prone to breaking. I have two Al Burgundy shades and both are broken. I would really like to see this type of eyeshadows in a palette, since I do like to use palettes more than I like to use singles.

CATRICE ABSOLUTE MATT EYESHADOW PALETTE:

For all of you neutral matt eyeshadow lovers, Catrice has you covered. This palette is really beautifull and the formula of the eyeshadows is really nice. Aldough they are a bit more powdery than Velvet Matt eyeshadows they are still opaque and blend nicely. There is laso minimal fallout. This is a very nice everyday palette that is also good for traveling, since it is in a small and slim packaging.

MEMEME QUAD 03 OCEAN EYES:

I got this quad recently and I must say I am not disappointed by it. Aldough it is all shimmery the eyeshadows are really opaque and last a long time on my lids. They also blend nicely and this perticular quad looks gorgeous on brown eyes. Since these are baked eyeshadows they can be used wet, but there is really no use for it, since they are soo opaque on its own.

TERRA NATURI MATTE MONO EYESHADOW IN 02 MULBERRY & METALLIC MONO EYESHADOW IN 08 BLUE LAGOON:

I think these eyeshadows are kinda forgoten, since not many people buy from Terra Natury, but these two shades are just awesome. They apply and blend nicely, the matte shade is not chalky and dry and the metallic shade does not look to shimmery. There is minimal fallout on both of these shades. I do not know about other eyeshadows from this line, but these two are definetly very good.

WET'N'WILD WALKING ON EGSHELLS, PETAL PUSHER & BLUE HAD ME AT HELLO:

These three palettes are some of the cheapest palettes I own and they have a really good formula. All of the shades are opaque, except from two from the Petal Pusher palette. I think these are really good for somebody that wants to try some colour and is not afraid of shimmer, since almost all of the colours are shimmery. They blend really nicely and last surprizingly long on my lids. There is minimal fallout, mostly glitter.

SUGARPILL ADDICTED TO PRETTY HEART BREAKER PALETTE:

I was eyeing this palette since I first heard about Sugarpill and I was finally able to get it! I am really happy with the quality and performance of these shadows. Aldough they are on the more expensive side I think that they are worth the money, since the eyeshadows are really pigmented, they blend like a dream and last forever. Not to forget that there is really a lot of product in every pan, so finishing off these eyeshadows is probably mission impossible :)

MUA UNDRESS ME, UNDRESS ME TOO, EVER AFTER - MATTE PALETTE & SMOKIN PALETTE:

I own quite a few MUA eyeshadow palettes and aldough not all of them are good these 4 definetly are top notch eyeshadow palettes for drugstore prices. They are really opaque and blendable, matte shades are not too powdery and glittery shades do not turn into a glitter bomb that just exploded all over your face. Undress me and Undress me too are dupes for Urban Decay Naked 1 and 2 palettes and Smokin palette is a dupe for Urban Decay Smoked palette.

SLEEK MINERAL EYESHADOW PALETTES:

I do not think we can talk about best eyeshadow formula without mentioning Sleek. They make one of the best if not the best eyeshadows for the price that come in a sturdy as hell packaging (believe me, I depoted two of the palettes. It was a nightmare... these eyeshadows have better packaging than any of the game consoles I came across... and that is saying a lot). Not only the packaging but the formula is superb. How do you know a company is doing a really good job with their eyeshadows? Test their matte and bright colours, those are some of the hardest colours to do right in my oppinion and Sleek has done it! Their matte eyeshadows are pigmented and blend nicely, their palettes have nice colour layout, their glittery eyeshadows have a nice, not too shiny finish, they last, fade minimaly and do not have a lot of fallout. Not to mention the awesome shade selection they offer.

Did you try any of the eyeshadows mentioned in this post? What do you think about them? Which are your favourite eyeshadows?
Thank you for reading?
Have a nice day ;)

Favourite lipstick + lipgloss combination

Hello lovelies :)
I personally prefer matt lips, as oppose to glossy lips, since I think matt lipstick usualy lasts longer on my lips. But I did discover some pretty lipstick and gloss combinations while I was experimenting with some of my lipsticks.

CATRICE 050 MAUVE YOUR LIPS + CATRICE BEAUTIFYING LIP SMOOTHER 010 SWEET CARAMEL

Mauve Your Lips is my new favourite nude. I never thought I would like these kind of colours, but I really do. It is beautifull on it's own, but I like to add a bit of Sweet Caramel, because I do feel that this colour looks better on me when it is a bit glossy.

WET'N'WILD JUST PEACHY + CATRICE BEAUTIFYING LIP SMOOTHER 020 APRICOT CREAM

I like Just Pecahy quite a lot, but I do not like how it looks on my lips when it is fully opaque (it looks too strong on me), so I like to apply it and then blot it and buff it into my lips a bit more using my finger. This makes the colour buch softer and better looking on me. I like to top it of with Apricot Cream, for some added glossines, especialy when my lips are a bit chaped, because Just Peachy emphasizes dry parts a lot.

ESSENCE 07 NATURAL BEAUTY + CATRICE BEAUTIFYING LIP SMOOTHER 030 CAKE POP

This is the combination I have been using quite a lot on an everyday basis. I like Natural Beauty on it's own, but adding a hint of Pop Cake just makes it a bit more glossy and pink. I am personally not a fan of pink lips but this colour combination is too beautiful for me to pass.

CATRICE 250 MATT ABOUT PINK + NYX BUTTER GLOSS CHERRYCHEESE CAKE

Matt about pink looks like an orange shade, when you look at it in the bullet, but it goes on my lips a bit more pink. Since I did not really like that I tried to mix the colour with the NYX butter glos in Cherrycheese Cake, which is a really opaque orange gloss. I really like the colour combination and the gloss also makes the lipstick more comfortable on the lips, since it does not have the best matt formula.

CATRICE 090 IMCORALLY PINK + NYX BUTTER GLOSS STRAWBERRY PARFAIT

ImCorally Pink is quite a strong shade on it's own, but adding just a  hint of Strawberry Parfait makes it even more 'in your face'. Strawberry Parfait is not as pigmented as I would like on it's own (it is still pigmented for a gloss), but it makes a bit differenc when layered ower this lipstick. It is more of a summer combination, but I really like it :)

Those are my favourite lipstick + gloss combinations :) Do you have any that you like?
Thank you for reading :)
Have a nice day ;)

EOTD: Going grey with undress me too palette from MUA

Hello lovelies :)
Undress me too is one of the first palettes I got and I used it quite a lot at first, but I kinda forgot about it, because I have soo much palettes. Since I recently picked it up again (I am on a quest to finish up at least one of my eyeshadow palettes and I chose this one, because it is the most used up), I decided to create a look with it :)

PRODUCTS USED:
*Essence I <3 stage eyeshadow primer
*Essence I <3 extreme volume mascara
*Catrice Liquid Liner (010 Dating Joe Black)
*Catrice Smokey eyes pencil (04 Petroling In The Deep)
*Essence Colour Flash volume mascara #02
*MUA Undress Me Too Eye Palette (Naked, Shy, Trenquil, Exposed, Reveal)

I primed my eyes with Essence I <3 stage eyeshadow primer and applied Reveal all over my lid, blending it a bit past the crease.

I applied Trenquil on the inner two thirds of my lid.

I used Naked on my browbone, Shy in my inner corner as a highlight and Exposed on the outer third of my lid, blending it a bit into the crease.

I applied Exsposed on the outer half of my lower lash line and Trenquil on the inner half of my lower lash line.

I finished the look with Catrice Liquid Liner in Dating Joe Black to line my upper lash line, Catrice Smokey eyes pencil on my waterline and applied two coats of Essence I <3 extreme volume mascara on my upper lashes and two coats of Essence Colour Flash volume mascara on my lower lashes.

What do you think about the look? I quite like it :)
Have a nice day ;)

Perfect Palette Tag

Hello lovelies :)
How are you all today?
I decided to do another tag, since this one is palette related and as you know I really like eyeshadow palettes. I would really like to hear your ansiwers to the questions in this tag, so if you decide to do this tag feel free to leave the link in the comments for me to read it :)

1. Best Packaging
Sleek wins by a long shot. Sugarpill packaging is cute, but Sleek palettes are really sturdy and easy to store, as well as travel with.

2. Best Color Payoff
Sugarpill. Their darker eyeshadows are so pigmented that they stain my fingers when I swatch them :P

3. Most Versatile
MUA Smokin Palette. I can do many natural looks with it as wel as some colorfull and neutral smokey looks. I really like the colour selection and qualitay of this palette.

4. Best for Traveling
I personally like Wet'n'Wild Walking On Eggshells, since it has a nice and simple selection of three colours and I can create a nice look with it on a whim

5. Biggest Regret
Some of the eyeshadow palettes from MUA: Glitter Ball, Heaven and Earth, Dusk til Dawn & Starry night. The colours are pretty, but all of the shades are glittery and they are prone to overblending.

6. Best Color Names
Sugarpill. I think they have some really nice names like Love +, Buttercupcake, Flamepoint or Poison Plum (and many more), I also like the names from Too Faced palettes, but I do not own any of them.

7. Least Used
MUA Undress me. I bought this eyeshadow palette, since I really liked the colours and I thought I will get quite a lot use out of it, but now I have many neutral eyeshadow palettes and this one is kinda forgotten in my collection.

8. Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island
Most used: MUA Undress Me Too. I used it religiously when I first got it, it has the biggest dents in the eyeshadows and I recently picked it up again, because one of the goals I set for myself is to use up at least one eyeshadow palette.
Most Loved:  Sleek Au Naturel eyeshadow palette. It has the best array of neutral colours for me and I really like to use it and create looks with it.
Desert island: I will go again with Sleek Au Naturel eyeshadow palette, because it has a mirror, is sturdy and I could create many looks with it (not that I would need it on a desert island).

That are my palette picks for this tag, what are yours?
Thank you for reading :)
Have a nice day :)

My Winter Face Rutine

Hello lovelies :)
Today I am sharing with you my winter face/foundation rutine. I usually do this every day when I have college. It does not take up as much time as it seems and I do like the final result :)
Here are the products I use and how I use them :)

PRODUCTS USED:
*Catrice prime and fine healthy look primer
*Catrice all matt plus shine control make up (010 Light Beige)
*Catrice velvet finish concealer (010 Velvet Ivory)
*Catrice camouflage cream (010 Ivory)
* Essence all about matt! fixing compact powder
*NYX Powder Blush (PB11 Taupe)
*Terra Naturri shimmer powder body&face (01 golden highlight)
*Terra Naturi rouge puder (04 royal apricot)

BRUSHES USED:
*Real Tehniques blush brush & stippling brush
*Eco Tools powder brush
*Body&Soul concealer brush
*Essence blending brush
*BH Cosmetics angeled contour brush
*BH Cosmetics powder brush

After I apply my skin care (click here if you are interested) I apply Catrice prime and fine healthy look primer on the middle of my face (nose, cheeks, chin and forehead). I personally do not really like this primer, but I want to use it up, so that is why I am using it. After that I apply Catrice velvet finish concealer (010 Velvet Ivory) on my under eye area (and on my lid if I am not doing any eye make up). I blend the concealer with my fingers and than imediately set the concealer with the Essence all about matt! fixing compact powder. I apply Catrice all matt plus shine control make up (010 Light Beige) eather with my fingers or with the Real Tehniques stippling brush. I start applying the foundation on my cheeks (where I need the most covaridge) and then blend it all over my face. I mix a bit of Catrice camouflage cream (010 Ivory) with the foundation at the back of my hand and conceal any spots with the help of Body&Soul concealer brush. After that I pat all the concealed spots with my fingers, to blend it a bit better into the skin.

I set my whole face with  Essence all about matt! fixing compact powder using Eco Tools powder brush and then I apply just the slightest bit of NYX Powder Blush (PB11 Taupe) with the BH Cosmetics angeled contour brush. I try to apply it as high as possible, because it drags my face down if I do it too low (which can happen quickly because my face is not that long). I apply Terra Naturri shimmer powder body&face (01 golden highlight) on the highest points of my cheeks, with the Essence blending brush. I like to use this brush because it is small enough for me to apply highlight where I want to. I do not like to use big brushes when I apply my face make up because It can get quickly out of control and messy. I use the Real Tehniques blush brush to apply Terra Naturi rouge puder (04 royal apricot) between the contour and the highlight. I finish everything off with BH Cosmetics powder brush, just blending everything together to make it more seemless.

This is how it my skin make up looks up close. Sadly the blush does not look as intense as it is in reality, but it still has some nice colour to it. I also do not go all in onto the cheens with highlight, blush or contour, because it can quickly look too much for my taste if I do. I just like a bit of colour and definition on my face.

And that is my foundation rutine, at least in the winter. I use different products in summer. These products are nice, but the foundation does not work best with the sun screen I use in the summer.

What is your face rutine? What are some of your favourite products to use?
Have a nice day :)
