Nails of the day #1 - Tjaša

Hello lovelies :)

Today I have for you my first nails of the day post :) I was not realy sure if I wanted to post this or not, since my nails are currnetly in a pretty bad shape... They are just breaking constantly, so I need to keep them short... But oh well, none of us is perfect :)

First I applied Essence studio nails 24/7 nail base on my clean nails. I am using this product for quite a while and I must say I am quite pleased with it. But since my nails got kinda week I am thinking about switching it with a different base, that would help me make my nails strong again. Any suggestions?

After that I applied two coats of Essence colour&go in 148 prom-berry. I feel like I could get away with only one coat on my nails, but I always put 2 coats on, no mater which polish I use. I guess old habits die hard.

After that I used Essence nail art special effect topper (long name is long...) in 15 glitter on me. I applied it with a spondge applicator (the one that is usually found in a palette. I got the idea from Taya). I wanted a fading effect on my nails, but it did not turn out that way on my nails. I guess I need more practice, before I can master this.

After that I used Essence studio nails better than gel nails top sealer (long name is even longer this time...) and my nails were complete.

This would turn out much  better on longer, healthier nails (like any nailpolish would), but I am quite happy with the result. I will probably take it off in a day or two any way, since this is what I do with every manicure.
